We are nearing the end of the month. Here’s what we worked on this week in Operational Excellence:
- The research project lifecycle effort and the research sub-team for roles and responsibilities joined forces this week. Their work streams are aligning and they will work together going forward to design solutions to improve the quality of proposals, response time and the award negotiation process.
- The finance sub-team for roles and responsibilities explored what types of travel employees undertake for the University and how we reimburse those activities. This research will help inform the travel and expense initiative to review policies and procedures.
- The human resources sub-team for roles and responsibilities began the design phase of its work, with a focus on defining HR roles and responsibilities, and aligning policies and procedures for key HR activities.
