In June, I provided updates on the design team members for the Exchange Visitor (J-1) Process Design project and a message on how the design team had utilized an energizer to kick off their initial meeting.
Of course, that first meeting was held virtually using Zoom. And so were the 16 additional two-hour meetings held from June through October, making the Exchange Visitor (J-1) project the first Operational Excellence virtual design team effort. The team took advantage of Zoom’s tools including whiteboard and breakout rooms during meetings and has utilized Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint to collaborate.
The design team is now soliciting feedback on a playbook from campus stakeholders with a goal of rollout early next year. In addition to the design team meetings, OE held regular and frequent update Zoom meetings with leadership.
