Good afternoon,
Since OE’s inception in late 2018, we have continuously improved our own services and evolved our mission to best meet the needs of the Carolina Community. While we’re looking forward to sharing more over the coming months, I want to address one piece of our evolution today. We’ve moved!
On September 1st of this year, the entire OE Team moved from South Building to the fourth floor of ITS Manning. Throughout this process, we’ve placed collaboration, team-building and innovation at the forefront of what we do by designing a new space to more effectively host design teams, our new Lean Foundations Training, and hosting campus partners. Please save the date, on December 1st from 2-4pm we will host our grand opening as part of our Annual Celebration! We hope that you will come and celebrate all the great work that we have done together! An invite with specific details on the event is forthcoming.
I also want to take a minute to share how OE is reaching beyond Carolina to capture best practices and learn from our peers. On September 15th, Transformation Managers Georgia McRae and Nick Sengstaken became Prosci Change Management Certified. Through this acclaimed training, our team learned how to apply Prosci’s best-practices approach to change management and gained access to industry-leading tools which will bolster our work moving forward. Georgia and Nick join our other Transformation Managers Candace Reynolds and Mieke Kovens who were already Prosci certified.
Finally, Candace Reynolds and I have continued to support the Network for Change and Continuous Innovation(NCCI). Moving forward, Candace has accepted the invitation to serve on NCCI’s Professional Development Committee and I have been selected to chair the NCCI Education Council. These experiences to collaborate with leaders across our industry are invaluable and will help us identify new ways to bring transformative change to Carolina.
