Good afternoon,
Yesterday, the Operational Excellence hosted our annual celebration. We are thankful to have many campus partners who have embraced collaboration to drive continuous improvement across the institution. We appreciate seeing so many friendly faces in attendance. A special thank you to Becky Eatmon for briefly coming out of retirement to make this event a success.
At our celebration, we awarded those who have promoted and cultivated the culture of Operational Excellence. This year, we were proud to present OE awards to the following:
- Jackie Smith, Adams School of Dentistry for Continuous Improvement
- Genevieve Cecil, Undergraduate Curricula Office for Collaboration
- Lauren DiGrazia, Office of the University Registrar for Leadership
The Operational Excellence Awards recognizes outstanding contributions by staff members to the advancement of Operational Excellence’s mission. Thank you to our 2022 award recipients for your exceptional work with Operational Excellence.
Lastly, I’m excited to welcome Vernadette Delos Santos to the Operational Excellence Team as our new Program Coordinator. Vernadette comes to OE as a seasoned administrator from Alignmint Real Estate where she managed listings and cultivated an interest in continuous improvement. Vernadette, we’re so excited to have you on our team and can’t wait to see all you accomplish with Operational Excellence. Welcome aboard!
