OE Update – 12/9/2022

Good afternoon, 

The holiday season is officially here and as we prepare to enter 2023, it is yet again the time of year when we look back and celebrate our success. As with each passing year, 2022 was met with its own challenges to overcome. I’m so proud of the steps taken by our community to support Carolina’s mission and implementation of sustainable transformative change while embracing new opportunities for growth. That’s why today I’m excited to share our annual report for the 2021-2022 academic year and recognize the accomplishments and partners that have been a part of our fourth year of Operational Excellence. We could not have done this work without the many great partners across campus.

In preparation for a fruitful 2023, the Operational Excellence team is hosting sessions of our OE Lean Foundations Training on January 25 and 26. This half-day course is designed to be an introduction to lean management tools and shed light on the foundational improvement principles utilized throughout Operational Excellence’s work. Registration is now available on Carolina Talent HERE.
