Good afternoon,

I am excited to announce that the OE team is currently working on a Credit Bearing Certificates Project. This project aims to position the University for growth in this space by, 1) designing a ConnectCarolina structure for improved tracking and management of non-degree students, and 2) creating a central model for graduate credit bearing certificate administration. We are taking a Solution Design approach and the design team members include:

  • Stephanie Schmitt, The Graduate School
  • Jennifer Larson, Digital and Lifelong Learning
  • Lauren DiGrazia, University Registrar
  • Maribel Carrion, Information Technology Services
  • Candy Davies, Information Technology Services
  • Lindsay Farling, Finance and Operations
  • Gina Fogelsonger, Information Technology Services
  • Kaitlyn Marlowe, School of Information and Library Science

This project is led by Senior Transformation Manager Candace Reynolds. As always, OE projects rely on collaboration with campus partners. We’re thankful to Dean of the Graduate School Beth Mayer-Davis, Vice Provost for Digital and Lifelong Learning Todd Nicolet, and Vice Provost for Enrollment Rachelle Feldman for their partnership.

Lastly, I am pleased to announce the promotion of Candace Reynolds and Mieke Kovens to Senior Transformation Managers. Mieke and Candace fully embrace OE’s guiding principles and continue to be champions of transformation to support Carolina’s key missions. Congratulations, Candace and Mieke!
