OE Update – 2/3/2023

Good afternoon,   

On January 25th and 26th, the OE team hosted the first 2023 session of our OE Lean Foundations Training. This half-day course is designed to be an introduction to lean management tools, and to encourage a mindset of continuous improvement. These sessions are meant to help attendees critically look at their current processes and find opportunities for improvement to enhance the Carolina experience. The five lean principles were coupled with activities and an exchange of ideas from a diverse set of individuals. I am delighted to say that by the end of the sessions, our attendees were equipped with the framework for solving problems.  

We are thankful to those who attended, and we were pleased with everyone’s engagement. The attendees provided thoughtful feedback, and many asked for more information and trainings. We are looking forward to more offerings in the future as we continue to serve and equip the Carolina community.
