Candace Reynolds, Associate Director for Operational Excellence

Candace Reynolds has over 19 years of experience in higher education, serving in a variety of IT and project and portfolio management roles prior to joining the Operational Excellence team when it was formed in 2019. Candace enjoys working with partners across campus to solve problems. As the Associate Director for Operational Excellence, she addresses University-wide challenges by leading diverse teams through the process of solution design and implementation. 

Prior to joining the Operational Excellence team, Candace held positions at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and Information Technology Services. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration from North Carolina State University. Candace holds Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional, Prosci Change Management, and Ideo Design Thinking certifications.
