I am excited to announce that the Operational Excellence team is partnering with the Office of the University Registrar to launch a Course Setup: Reserve Capacity Design Team. This will be the first of two phases in the Course Setup project, with the second phase focusing on waitlists. The Reserve Capacity phase aims to update ConnectCarolina to clearly show students if a course is available to them and why, provide process documentation and training to student services managers, and collaborate with student services managers to use reserve capacities more, enabling University-wide data analysis. Design team members include:

This Project will be led by Transformation Manager Candace Reynolds. As always, Operational Excellence projects cannot operate without collaboration from our tremendous functional area partners. We’re thankful to Vice Provost for Enrollment Rachelle Feldman, University Registrar Lauren DiGrazia, and Senior Associate Dean for Operations & Strategy Kate Henz for their partnership.
Lastly, I’m excited to welcome Georgia McRae to the Operational Excellence Team as our new Transformation Manager. Georgia comes to OE from Orange Theory Growth Partners where she served as their National Operations Manager with a focus on Process Improvement. Georgia, we’re so excited to have you on our team and can’t wait to see all you accomplish with Operational Excellence. Welcome aboard!
