OE Update — 5/19/2023

Good afternoon,

I am pleased to announce the OE team recently completed a listening tour, through which we had the privilege of hearing from faculty and staff across campus. Thank you to all who participated for embracing a continuous improvement mindset by openly sharing your operational challenges and helping to identify opportunities for improvement. It was encouraging to see the passion and commitment our community has for making Carolina a better place.

The OE team is synthesizing all that we learned with plans to share our findings with University leaders in the upcoming weeks to discuss how we can address the most critical operational challenges through future initiatives and projects.

Once again, we thank you for your contributions. For all those who participated, please know that we value your input and will maintain discretion in reporting our findings. We greatly appreciate your commitment to making Carolina a better university for all. For those that did not have a chance to meet with us on our tour, we welcome you to share your thoughts on operational challenges and opportunities on our website. This is just the beginning and together we can all play a part in Carolina’s future success.
